What beliefs have you been married to? Remember all the stuff that started to shift around on the metaphysical plane back in December? We got swept up in this completely different vibe during the last eclipse in Sagittarius. It brought some very important questions to the fore. Those of us that spend more time in energetic than earthly realms have been engaging in some serious existentialism. We’re looking at how we have perceived ourselves into being… the stories we have written and beliefs we’ve held true maybe all our lives, or at least for the past six to twelve years.
Sagittarius and Pisces are ruled by Jupiter, the Guru. It’s all about where we put our faith. I know I’ve referenced this before, but I had a dream once where I was floating just a foot or so off the ground. I noticed that I was beginning to drop towards the floor and realized that what was holding me up was the belief that it was possible. Dream Sarah tied this experience up in a neat little package and labeled it “we can all float as long as we believe that we can”. This is where we’re at. We have been seriously limiting ourselves because we believe that we are not capable. We all have different circumstances and means. This exercise in paying attention to our thoughts and inner dialogues is something that is accessible for most of us.
I don’t feel like I even want to really talk about the astrology in technical terms because there is so much of it. If ever there was a time to loosen the grip on rational thinking, this may be it. We have a lot of really fluffy and magical energy floating around that is creating a fertile little pocket for our eclipse season. There will be challenges and sharp edges, but my advice to you is this:
- First and foremost, eclipses are times where energy can be very unpredictable, so instead of making big decisions or trying to figure things out, watch, wait, observe, take notes. Mercury retro in Gemini coming up is going to help us with that.
- Take a look at your relationships both with yourself and those you care for. Do not force either into a box. In the words of Kaypacha, “it’s not either or, it’s both and more’. There is value in getting curious about your values. Experimentation is encouraged.
- Go outside. Sagittarius (where the moon is) and Gemini (where the sun is) are both mutable signs. They thrive on movement. It helps to process information through the body and to get out of the head… Overthinking is still on the menu.
- Let yourself dream, but don’t count your eggs before they hatch. With all these fertile, fluffy vibes, we can be quick to buy in to whatever feels good. DO IT. Buy in. But know that mutable energy shifts easily.
- Give yourself space to be “in the flow”. This may be the most important piece of information here. Being able to move gracefully in accordance with prevailing currents may save you from some of the sharper edges of this eclipse season… which will begin to make themselves known within the next week.
The energy of this eclipse is thick enough to spread on toast. You can smell it hot and wet as Jupiter is… like a jungle. Every speck of space ripe, wild, and dripping. It feels at once still and completely variable, as though back-floating in an endless vat of cream of starry night soup. Just here, relaxing into the warm, dark, gently swirling cosmos, but trusting. Having the utmost faith in the divine plan. Knowing that the cosmic tilt-a-whirl will rattle our brains around just right, reorganize our thoughts in such a way that things make sense… eventually. Fortune is in our favor this time and there is no reason to question or think otherwise. Goodnight fellow drifters. I will meet you on the other side.
P.S. I felt called to share one of my playlists for this full moon. Hope you enjoy:
