Mercury in Virgo: August 11-30

The planet of communication, travel, learning, and oracular divination is coming home to Virgo to organize details and clarify messages over the next two weeks. Mars and Venus stuff gets a lift during this time, as both planets are still in Mercury’s domicile.

Mars in Virgo: July 29 – September 15

The partnership of Mars and Mercury can be incendiary. The former takes pleasure in sporting competitions, battles, and being in charge while the latter enjoys strategy, logic, and has no allegiance. When the god of war and willpower enters the temple of Virgo, this part of the chart is provided with ample motivation… and in return, Martian activities are refined, directed, and subject to change.

Mercury in Leo: July 26 – August 11

The partnership of Mercury and the Sun can be a mixed bag. The former takes pleasure in games, playing both sides, and would be amused if no one won, while the latter prefers honorable challenges, focused efforts, and coming out on top. When the god of communication enters into the temple of Leo, things can get interesting. We may learn what a mischief-maker would do with a crown.

Aquarius Full Moon

This Leo season starts with a full moon right out of the gate. At 10:37pm (eastern) on July 23, the Moon will oppose the Sun right after they both change signs. A special moment, for sure. What makes it even more special is that the lights are flanked by the malefics. The Sun is co-present with Mars in Leo while the Moon will be co-present with Saturn in Aquarius. This tells us that opportunities will be presented (which may feel like we are being challenged) to learn and grow from the more complex situations and circumstances we find ourselves in.

Venus in Virgo: July 21-August 16, 2021

Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, sensuality, and harmony moves into the detail oriented and analytical sign of Virgo, where she will stay for the next three weeks.
