Today the Moon in Leo opposes the Sun and Mercury in Aquarius while all of the above are (T) squared by a recently direct Uranus in Taurus. All of these planets are in the bounds of Saturn and Mars, which can be a bit on the rough side… but let’s talk about the Uranus situation.Continue reading “FULL MOON in LEO”

Mercury Rx in Libra
Because I am a complete and total nerd AND because I feel like some of you will appreciate this, I’ve compiled a timeline of transits/events that help to tell the story that is Mercury Rx in Libra. Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter are all intimately entwined during this period and therefore will be the sign posts that mark Mercury’s journey into the underworld and eventual rebirth. It’s a tragicomedy for sure. I’ve been laugh-crying the whole time and we’ve only just gotten through the first shadow phase.
Pisces Full Moon + Mercury Rx in Libra
Welcome to the 2022 Pisces Full Moon! May all the tears we cry wash away the pain of existence and bring us closer to the unspeakably beautiful mystery that is this material life. In the dance back and forth between the ethereal spark within us and that which lights the world without, may we find balance, poise, and the ability to walk such an edge with grace, to hold the tension of opposites. This is a time to allow, to be overcome by, to release into, and offer our suffering to something greater. If you know, you know.
Libra Season
In the northern hemisphere, Libra marks the autumnal equinox and the Sun’s descent into darker months. The days are now shorter than the nights and there is a refreshing chill in the air… if you live far enough away from the equator. The time has come to welcome back your fall wardrobe, invest in a new sweater or two (or three), and become an even more lovely and sophisticated version of yourself. Break out the chai spices and the *tasteful* fall decor. Re-invest yourself in your female friends or make a new one. Find win-win-win-win solutions to every problem. If you can’t find the beauty in something, make the beauty.
Mars in Libra: September 14-October 30
Mars and Venus are quite an unlikely pair, though they are essentially two sides of the same coin. While Mars divides, Venus brings together. The former takes pleasure in bonfires, butcher shops, and all things related to war while the latter prefers lush gardens, boudoirs, and amorous activities. When the god of ambition and assertion enters the temple of Libra, the surroundings are not conducive to his usual Martian activities. This means that things Mars represents may be challenged during this time. However, Mars can inspire us to stand up for what is just while Libra provides a comfortable space to tend our battle wounds.
Venus in Scorpio: September 10-October 7
Venus and Mars are quite an unlikely pair, though they are essentially two sides of the same coin. While Venus brings together, Mars divides. The former takes pleasure in lush gardens, boudoirs, and amorous activities while the latter prefers bonfires, butcher shops, and all things related to war. When the goddess of love and desire enters the temple of Scorpio, the surroundings are not conducive to her usual Venusian activities. This means that those things Venus represents may be challenged during this time. However, this pairing of opposites can also allow for a deeper emotional exploration of those themes.
Mercury in Libra: August 30-November 5
ketplaces, gaming houses, and tabulations while the latter prefers lush gardens, boudoirs, and amorous activities. When the god of communication enters into the temple of Libra, we may find ourselves rationalizing that which ought to be sensual or, conversely, allowing our logic to become languid. On the other hand, Venus’ luxurious home is a perfect place to soothe and release some of Mercury’s nervous tension.
Mercury opposite Neptune (August 22-26)
is still traveling backward through Pisces) for a few days this week. An opposition is like two kids on a seesaw that try to both be off the ground at the same time, but inevitably if one is up, the other is down. With these two planets things can feel a bit frazzled, a bit murky, a bit all over the place.
Virgo Season
Virgo season = harvest. We are stocking the larders, fixing the barn, counting the cows, and all sorts of other farming analogies. It’s time to reap what we have sown. It’s time to prepare for the changing of the seasons. Alphabetize and color code your records, books, and recipe collections. Take apart anything mechanical that you can get your hands on, clean it, and then put it back together. Make lists…. Lots of lists. Make lists for your lists’ lists. Have good manners. Take your health seriously. Eat fruits and veggies. Floss your teeth. Edit, organize, and streamline everything. Don’t let your mind run away with you!
Aquarius Full Moon II
This full moon brings us to a new part of our journey. All of what we have learned so far– all of the mistakes, the madness, the heartache, the suffering, all of the people we’ve met, all of the people we’ve been, everything we’re proud of, and all of the things that we know we know nothing about– is moving through the prismatic lens of spirit and being focused so that we can see ourselves as whole beings.
