FULL MOON in LEO

Today the Moon in Leo opposes the Sun and Mercury in Aquarius while all of the above are (T) squared by a recently direct Uranus in Taurus. All of these planets are in the bounds of Saturn and Mars, which can be a bit on the rough side… but let’s talk about the Uranus situation.Continue reading “FULL MOON in LEO”

Mercury opposite Neptune (August 22-26)

is still traveling backward through Pisces) for a few days this week. An opposition is like two kids on a seesaw that try to both be off the ground at the same time, but inevitably if one is up, the other is down. With these two planets things can feel a bit frazzled, a bit murky, a bit all over the place.

Aquarius Full Moon II

This full moon brings us to a new part of our journey. All of what we have learned so far– all of the mistakes, the madness, the heartache, the suffering, all of the people we’ve met, all of the people we’ve been, everything we’re proud of, and all of the things that we know we know nothing about– is moving through the prismatic lens of spirit and being focused so that we can see ourselves as whole beings.

Leo New Moon

This Leo new moon is a very special one, as it lands on the peak date of the Lion’s Gate portal. Lion’s Gate is a metaphysical and astronomical phenomenon which occurs when the Earth is aligned with Sirius, the brightest star we can see, between July 28 and August 12 every year. This period of time is said to herald accelerated spiritual growth. A level up, if you will. In numerology, the number 8 represents infinity and all that is. On the 8th day of the 8th month, this subtle energetic doorway opens itself wide, inviting those who are ready to walk through. This is not even close to the only dynamic we are working with right now, but it sets the mood and the theme for this moon cycle quite nicely.

Mid-Moon News: Leo Season, Part I

Current cosmic and earthly events focus on communication, boundaries, and our impulse to create. The week opened with intense emotions and maybe even an outburst or two, but will close with rededicating ourselves to do our very best.

Mars in Virgo: July 29 – September 15

The partnership of Mars and Mercury can be incendiary. The former takes pleasure in sporting competitions, battles, and being in charge while the latter enjoys strategy, logic, and has no allegiance. When the god of war and willpower enters the temple of Virgo, this part of the chart is provided with ample motivation… and in return, Martian activities are refined, directed, and subject to change.

Mercury in Leo: July 26 – August 11

The partnership of Mercury and the Sun can be a mixed bag. The former takes pleasure in games, playing both sides, and would be amused if no one won, while the latter prefers honorable challenges, focused efforts, and coming out on top. When the god of communication enters into the temple of Leo, things can get interesting. We may learn what a mischief-maker would do with a crown.

Cancer New Moon

The Sun and Moon are the quintessential celestial representatives of Yin and Yang. The OG. Essentially what all other astrological symbolism is based off of. On Friday, July 9 at 9:15pm eastern, they are getting together in the sign of Cancer, which is known as the gateway of life. There’s something very special about new moons that happen in the sign of the crab. Every Sun-Moon conjunction is a new beginning, but the one we get around this time of year is particularly procreative.
